Mitering occurs with the polish side down eliminating material thickness variation on a flat surface that never gets cut up. After placing pieces against the hard stop, the pneumatic clamps automatically come down to hold parts in place. Smaller pieces like aprons are held in place as to not move during the mitering process. The clamps also take warpage, bow & vibration out of the material when mitering.
The operator panel is above the water line and slides along the length of the machine, making it easy access for the operator to control the Miter X from anywhere along the front of the machine. This makes it more efficient for the operator to control the machine unlike other miter saws that only have the control panel on one side of the machine.
The incorporation of roller wheels simplifies the task of loading and unloading workpieces onto the Miter X. Alongside this, the intuitive floating control panel empowers operators to effortlessly position the wheels for elevation or descent from anywhere on the machine.
