PURE FILTRATION systems were designed specifically for the harsh stone environment. The systems use active water separation and a series of gravity settling tanks/weirs to remove stone particles from water. These systems offer exceptional dependability with minimal upkeep.
Pure Filtration systems are designed for the harsh stone environment. Available in many options, spanning 80 GPM, 120 GPM, 240 GPM, and 320 GPM.
Cyclonic separation constantly provides 10-micron grey water to the entire shop. The BACA Pure pumps dirty water from the pit thru the Cyclonic Separator and delivers to a conical holding tank to be pumped at 75 psi on demand to shop. Mud greater than 10-micron is deposited in bags for easy disposal.
A High horsepower, low RPM, Horizontal Seal-less pump and bearing unit is Suspended over the pit on I-beams. Only the impeller is under water. Pumps last years, not months like submersible pumps.
Dirty water from the manufacturing process enters the Floor Flumes (trenches) and gravity flows the water into the pit. Water is directed into the pit providing a capture point to enter the pit. Minimum recommended pit size is 5’D x 5’W x 5’L with 12” deep trench flume. Pit and trenching are provided by the customer and is required prior to system installation.
Lobster Pot flume screen is the first line of defense to protect the pit pump from unintentionally sucking debris into the pump causing damage to the recycling system. One (1) Lobster Pot will be provided with each system. *Additional Lobster Pot Flume Screen may be purchased for multiple pit entries. Lobster pot fastens to pit, concrete wall.
Keeping the pit pump ABOVE the water pit allows for the pump to be a more reliable and robust solution to draw the water out of the pit and into the recycling system rather than using a submersible pump which has the tendency to regularly fail by keeping it under water.
A PVC pit sweeper is installed in the pit to keep particles suspended and swept toward pump suction for removal. The pit sweeper is strategically designed for easy removal for cleaning when maintenance is required. Pit sweeping removes the need to drain the pit water and shovel or vacuum out settled mud and debris, saving money and labor costs
Water from the pit is pumped into the centrifugal separator where all particles larger than 70-micron are removed from the water. Waste is deposited into hopper with removable bag for easy disposal. Water processed by the separator is sent to the pit sweeper and Hydrocyclones for further processing to 10-micron. The waste particles are deposited into a Sludge Hopper with removable bag, which overflows into a Settling Weir with removable bag, finally overflowing back to the pit.
Water enters a series of Hydro-cyclones and is filtered down to approximately 10 microns. Solids are continuously purged into the Sludge Hopper. Clean fluid is delivered to the Gray Water Holding Tank. Hydro-Cyclone Separators will be mounted on a custom forkable base. Each hydro-cyclone will process 20 GPM to 10-micron. Hydro-cyclones will continuously purge solids into the Sludge Hopper. Clean Discharge from the hydro-cyclones, is sent to the Holding Tank.
The Sludge Hopper collects the sludge discharge from Hydro-Cyclones into a removable bag with four lifting straps. The excess fluid from the hopper overflows back into the pit. One (1) one cubic yard sludge hopper with Removable Liner. A stainless-steel baffle plate eliminates the migration of solids purged back to the pit. Sludge hopper will have, 3” overflow outlet to overflow excess water back to the pit.
A patented over-under settling bag, captures overflow water from the sludge hopper and further removes the solids. Excess water overflows into the flume back to the pit.
Before entering the Gray Water Holding Tank, the Wizard automatically injects coagulant settling agent into the gray water return line to enhance the settlement of the “fluff” inside the gray water holding tank.
A conical bottom tank stores the 10 micron gray water. The conical bottom allows for the easy settlement of the “fluff”. The “fluff” can either be manually purged or automatically removed by the AUTO PURGE valve.
The pneumatic valve is operated by a preset controller to purge the conical tank throughout the day. The fine sediment is collected in a separate sludge hopper with a disposable bag. Excess water from the sludge hopper then overflows into the pit.
Mounted to the Holding Tank, with an ozone dispersion stone suspended inside. Ozone will help eliminate bacteria, algae, and odor from forming inside the tank.
A Heavy-Duty Horizontal Pump will deliver gray water from the Holding Tank throughout the shop at the required flow of 75psi. Pump has a Silicon carbide/Silicone carbide/Viton mechanical seal. Includes Inlet and outlet plumbing with gauge and valves. Pump is equipped with a minimum flow dump line for pump protection.
For applications that require “Crystal Clear. 0.75-micron water”, a Quad Hurricane Filtration System converts 25GPM from gray water to Crystal Clear. Quad Filters can be added onto existing Pure Filtration systems in the future.
