- 1-Pass Polish — Eased edge produced at 2 ft per minute.
- Edge Details — Flat polish, eased edge, bevel, full & half bullnose, sharknose and more.
- High Production — Continuous processing for maximum throughput.
The Straight 8 was designed to edge, polish & chamfer backsplash and countertops in a single pass. The machine works on a continuous mode operation, meaning that all pieces are loaded one after the other, while moving past 8 polishing motors that result in a finished product which includes a top and bottom micro-bevel when needed. The 8 polishing motors is where the name Straight 8 originated from!

Process backsplashes, countertops, and vanities seamlessly in a single run, achieving feedrates as high as 87IPM on 3CM and 100IPM on 2CM.
By incorporating a setup of 10 spindle positions, which includes 8 dedicated to polishing and 2 for chamfering, the Straight 8 produces the best polish in the market.
The Slab Rack Support System was engineered with safety as #1 priority. This robust support system gives extra support to larger countertops as they move through the Straight 8 machine. Largest recommended workpiece size is 96” & 120” is required to accommodate the Slab Rack effectively.
The Straight 8 utilizes 10 spindle positions to create the best polish on the market. Spindle #1: Edge Gauging Spindle. Spindle #2 through #8: Polishing Spindles. Spindle #9: Top Chamfer Spindle set at 45°. Spindle #10: Bottom Chamfer Spindle set at 45°.
Run backsplash, countertops & vanities all in one pass at feed rates of up to 87IPM.
Allows the operator to adjust when the tool engages the material. This feature is essential for running parts that do not need to be polished along the entire side i.e. Butt Seams.
Built with strength and durability in mind. Attached to the left and right side of the machine, galvanized in/out feed rollers are designed to help an operator set a piece on the machine and align it to the belt for easy loading. The outfeed roller table is designed to help support large pieces still in process to allow an operator time to attend the machine and pull the piece off after it is completed polishing.
Slab Rack is used to support large parts while traveling through the Straight 8. Minimum height clearance of 120″ required for Slab Rack.
Touch screen is utilized for the operator controls. Set belt speed, start/stop timing, pneumatic pressure & store settings for polishing different materials.
Having all the grease points at one spot on the machine, makes it easier for the operator to do the scheduled maintenance.
Used water exits cleanly through dedicated drain that can be routed to a trench resulting in a cleaner shop floor.
2 beveling heads are placed at 45° angles to micro bevel the top and bottom edge-detail quickly and easily.
The Straight 8 was designed with the operator in mind. Large doors are located on the front and backside of the machine, specifically for allowing the operator easy access to the internals for routine maintenance and service work.
