Fully meeting the very parameters – speed, accuracy, working strokes and software interface - required for all tasks connected to efficient slab fabrication encompassing trimming, de-tensioning cuts, mitering, multidirectional and curvilinear jobs, as well as inner cut-outs.
Multi-Tool is a separate 7HP side spindle adjustable up to 12,000 RPMs with a 9 Tool Carriage. Incremental bits process sinks, arcs & other non-linear cuts up to 50% faster when used at RPMs higher then 6,000, thus the need for the Multi-Tool! Equipped with a 9-position ISO 40 tool changer magazine, this allows for 9 different tools to be operational on the Multi-Tool with ZERO operator intervention. This 9-position tool carriage is ideal for having a variety of tooling for different material types like granite, quartz, marble, quartzite, porcelain, & other ultracompact materials.
The Versa 5 offers an optional Camera and Vein Matching software. The camera captures a calibrated image, simplifying part placement and enabling Vein Matching to visualize the veining pattern before cutting begins. *If height restrictions exist, the camera can be mounted to the ceiling.
The saw blade features powered automatic inclination, adjustable from 0 to 90°. This function enables swift adjustment of the machine head angle without manual intervention. It streamlines complex cutting cycles, simplifying the process of creating miters, accelerating operations, and minimizing operator errors. The Versa 5 tilting table is hydraulically driven and constructed from heavily ribbed steel that is hot zinc-coated, ensuring resilience in demanding stone environments. With dimensions measuring 137.7” x 92.1”, this sturdy table is built to endure harsh conditions with ease.
The monobloc structure of the Versa 5 allows the machine to be installed quick and relocated easily. Rigidity of the frame ensures max stiffness, fast acceleration, & superior cutting accuracy.
This vacuum system is specifically designed with 2 vacuum pads to handle the workpieces on the worktable in complete safety conditions. The unit is operated by an independent vacuum pump with each of the 2×3 grabbers splitable via software in order to pick up any piece regardless its shape or dimension. This device dramatically enhances the machine’s productivity delivering utmost cycle integration and superior operator working comfort and safety and it also reduces scraps and manual errors.
The Automatic Saw & Tool Wear Sensor, equipped with management software, detects the saw blade diameter and tool length effortlessly. This feature automatically adjusts the cutting tool’s depth, ensuring it penetrates through the material and just grazes the cutting table surface. By utilizing the Automatic Touch Probe, you eliminate the need for manual adjustment by operators, thus enhancing the longevity of the cutting table.
The Versa 5 boasts a 21” touchscreen monitor embellished with vibrant graphic icons, serving as a visual interface for showcasing, positioning, and programming tasks. With the intuitive DDX software enabling automatic programming, it ensures user-friendly operation and simplifies cross-training among staff. Additionally, a manual joystick is included for swift and effortless manual cutting operations, rendering the Versa 5 the ultimate 5 Axis cutting solution to meet all your fabrication requirements.
Cross Laser makes digitizing manual templates fast & easy allowing the Versa 5 to cut automatically after generating the digital file from the manual template.
The Mechanical Touch-Probe, accompanied by management software, measures the material’s top surface, identifying slab thickness variations, uneven table surfaces, and any warping or bowing of the material. The Versa 5 software then automatically changes the trajectory of the saw blade ensuring accurate miters and dimensionally correct parts. *Maximum blade size is 20” inches when using the Mechanical Touch Probe.
The doors made of sound-depleting ABS material that protect against splashes and reduce noise, keeping the operator safe.
Crushproof, waterproof, mold-proof, high density, non-decomposable polyurethane worktable milled to ensure a long-term planarity and covered by a cellular rubber mat with high friction, perfect to cut thin slabs.
